Process

We use a state of the art film scanner brought in from California to capture every single frame of your films. After being scanned, each frame is then joined together and we make any speed adjustments necessary to give it a modern, realistic look. The editing process continues by cleaning up the framing and other aspects for the final video. Lastly we add some music that fits the content and now it's ready to watch.

Why we offer this service

8mm films date back to the 1960s and 1970s, and like anything else, time can wear down the quality of your movies. By converting them to a digital, you can preserve them forever without fear of any further deterioration. They are then easily able to be copied and sent to anyone you'd like to share them with. Film may be largely forgotten, but we still enjoy the aesthetics of such a great format and love transferring them to the digital age.
